CHOW DANCE- A TRIBAL DANCE OF PURILIA

The place Purulia is remembered for the traditional Santhals - an age-old tribe famous for their heritage, craftsmanship, Chow Dance and heroic movement against the British Raj in India.

The mesmerising chow dance performance took place in "Shilpa Mela" organised in Durgapur on 2nd December.
